Kjersti T. Fjalestad (47) is employed as a Research Geneticist in Aqua Gen from February 1. 2008.

Kjersti has her education and doctorate from University of Life Sciences (UMB) and comes from a position as research scientist in the Fishery Association. She was involved there in building up the national cod selective breeding program and in the research activity related to that. She has a wide experience with genetics and selective breeding in fish.
