Odd Magne Rødseth (43) is appointed to the position as General Manager in Aqua Gen AS. Today Rødseth is Research Director at Intervet Norbio AS. He takes over his new position February 1, 2004.

He has a Master’s Degree in Microbiology from the University of Bergen. During his studies he also collected experience from practical work in the Norwegian fish farming industry. When he graduated from the University of Bergen in 1986 he held a research position at the Institute of Marine Research (IMR) in Bergen until 1992. His main research topics where within fish immunology and developing vaccines for the aquaculture industry. During this period he was an active participant in starting and running the national research programme “Frisk Fisk”, which was the basis for developing the first vaccine against cold water vibriosis. When the Dutch pharmaceutical company Intervet International bought the Bergen based vaccine company Norbio, Rødseth was given the responsibility for the company’s commitment in developing new fish vaccines. Through his position as Research Director during the last 10 years, Rødseth has headed the development and launching of a great number of new products on the international market.
